Green Supply Chain Empowerment

Novafuture established and enforces its Supplier Code of Conduct in 2018. This Code outlines essential standards for human rights & labor, ethical business conduct, health & safety, environmental sustainability, and responsible mineral sourcing (particularly for materials critical to solar components), which all our suppliers must adhere to. Novafuture integrates this Code from the new supplier selection phase, preemptively verifying their supply chain management systems, and conducts regular sustainability assessments and follow-up monitoring for effective supply chain risk management. All collaborating suppliers are required to formally agree to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, with relevant procedures and records managed via our dedicated procurement portal.

Novafuture is committed to building proactive prevention mechanisms to keenly identify early warning signs of various supply chain risks. Specifically, to enhance transparency in our critical raw material supply chains (e.g., for key solar components like high-purity silicon and specialized glass), we are developing a digital traceability platform, enabling decentralized data storage to prevent unauthorized tampering and cyber-attacks. Furthermore, since 2021, we've been working on integrating data from material reception, production, and shipment stages with this platform, aiming for automated verification. We will continue to expand the platform's application scope and material coverage to minimize risks associated with raw material production and ensure the integrity of our solar products.

Beyond the Supplier Code of Conduct, Novafuture has established a comprehensive Responsible Sourcing Management Policy for raw materials essential to solar technology. This policy, guided by principles similar to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance, articulates the fundamental principles for supply chain management for both Novafuture and our suppliers, aiming to minimize supply chain risks such as human rights violations, environmental pollution, and the use of conflict minerals.
